RAFT RENTAL

 The seven mile stretch of the Green River through Red Canyon is a perfect run for beginners and people wishing to experience the river on their own. It is just the thing for groups and families to get out and have a fun day added to their vacation. Rafts are rented standard with a paddle for each individual wishing one, a bail bucket, and life jackets for each person.
Fishermen wishing to float the river without the benefit of a guide would find the rafts with rowing frames to be very advantageous. The frame make them a bit more maneuverable, and can be controlled by one man while the others are fishing.
Recently we have been able to offer a Two or a Three man fishing Pontoon from Dave Scadden. They have fishing platforms for both front and back fishermen to stand on.
We've got several new self-bailer 8 man rafts to offer for This season. They act reminiscent of Pontoon boats with their high bottom design.
Another new item for daily rental is a drift boat made by ClackaCraft. It is a bit more technical and for a more experienced person at the oars, but offers the most comfortable way to float fish the river.
Please keep in mind as you float the Green river, the power of water is incredible and it can let you know very straightforward if you are not careful and respectful of it.

This hazard is easy to miss but I believe  beginners have such a fun time bouncing off some of these rocks, they get into trouble by doing it on purpose. The problem is, there are a few mild looking boulders that are definitely boat eaters.

We have several sizes of rafts to fit the needs of floaters from one man pontoons, inflatable  two man kayaks, up to a 10 man raft.
One thing renters need to be aware of is car shuttles.  We can tie a raft on the car and you can launch yourself and we shuttle your car for $42.00. If you have two cars you can do your own shuttle which takes about 45 minutes to get back to the boat at the launch site. On the new Star 8 Man rafts due to their size it might be best to use a trailer for your shuttles. A convenient way is to leave your vehicle at our store and we launch you and  the raft, then pick you up at Little Hole when the float is completed. This Launch & Pickup Shuttle runs $80.00.

Accessories that come with each boat:

• Life Jacket for each individual (Life jackets are required)

• Bail Bucket

• Paddle for each individual if desired

• Instructions as needed

We also rent oars or Life Jackets alone if needed.

Because of recent economy trends we have lowered most of our prices on the Raft Rental Page. We are hoping to see more of you next year and a repeat of all the old customers.
