The L. C. Ranch, located near the towns of Duchesne and Roosevelt, in eastern Utah, encompasses approximately 1300 acres. Within its boundaries lay 25 lakes teeming with Rainbow, Steelhead, Brook, and Brown trout. The Ranch resides in the Rim-rock country, consisting of small cliffs and Juniper trees, creating a separate personality for each lake. The lakes are in very close proximity making it uncomplicated to work several in a morning or afternoon.

 

Two spacious Lodges and the Honeymoon Cabin nestled among the lakes, create a perfect retreat for small, or a large party wanting to book the fishing on the ranch.

 

There is some very good Dry fly fishing for the purists starting in early May and lasting throughout the summer. There are several species of Mayflies and midges to kick off the early season, and then the Damsel Flies in early May, make for some of the best dry fly-fishing one could hope for.

 

There is a guide for every four anglers to help if needed in casting, fishing techniques and reading the water of the lakes. There are Float tubes provided for your use, or you are welcome to bring your own if desired. There is also some very good shore fishing on several of the lakes.
